You know what?  I questioned the fact that they were building this Target.  I said to myself: "We have a 3 Targets in the area!"  I was SO wrong.  This is the best Target in our area.  It's clean.  It's new.  It has everything I need.  I tried buying beer at the Foothill Ranch Target.  None.  This Target has beer and more!  We didn't need a Super Target, we just needed this better upgraded one.

BTW.  The parking lot is huge, but not if you want a spot right at the door.

Why the 5 stars you say? Well, compared to the other Targets I've been to within a 10-mile radius, this one is definitely 5 stars! I could've gone to the ghetto one off Alicia Pkwy since that one was much closer, but I was curious about this one. I'd only seen the large Target sign from the street when I've driven down Jeronimo, but it's like as if it's a secret or something the way it's hidden from view. So I made it a point to just do it!

WOW. All I can say is WOW! It's HUGE. It might even be larger than the "Greatland" Targets up in the Bay Area. I don't recall seeing any "Greatland" Targets in OC but this one for sure is about as big if not better.

I love going to Target regardless -- *sigh* even to the ghetto ones if I'm out of something -- but I thoroughly enjoyed myself browsing through the aisles of this ginormous location. I don't think I can ever go back to that little ghetto one down the road anymore.

Dear Mother,

I am just writing to you to let you know about this Target because I think it's right up your alley! By alley, I mean you would like this place, I do not mean that with any sort of sexual connotation because you are my mother, and that would be disgusting.

Anyway, back to Target and away from your woo-ha (that's right, I referred to it as a "woo-ha"). This place is awesome! It's so bourgeois! There's even a Starbucks inside. Who doesn't love a little Starbucks mixed with shopping? I know you do mother. There is also a pizza hut inside if you feel like using your weight watchers flex points. However, if you don't, there still soft pretzels and popcorn for a bit healthier options (but probably in no way would I call it "health food.")

Mother, I think you would like the size of this Target. I perused the computer printers and was able to buy a half-pound of Dunkin' Donuts coffee for morning. I didn't need non-dairy creamer (I know mother you always said to use half-and-half when serving guests) but I could have picked up some of that too.

I know you like a bargain mother, and there were plenty of those here too! They have a dollar bin here, but it's actually organized and not all messy like other dollar-bins at Target. Mother, I know you taught me the value of being tidy and organized, I think their bins here would make you proud! I actually think this whole store would make you proud as I couldn't see one thing out of place here. They obviously have trained their staff well! I know you are all about discipline!

Mother, I know you would also like the location of this place. It's located in South Orange County, in the bourgeoisie area, but not the pretentious area. The outside of this place is a fine balance with it's neon lights and window displays. But I assure you mother it actually looks tasteful and not like those strip joints you always warned me to stay away from (seriously mother, I don't know why my $1's stick together like that). Also, because it's not located too far from leisure world and retirement-ville there is plenty of handicapped parking here! Yes, it is a bit annoying that there are about 20 spaces for handicap parking and us able bodied people have a bit further to park, but I know your prosthetic knees, bum hip, dislocated shoulder, spinal spasms, gout, bunions, migraine prone head, allergies, and itchy skin will appreciate all that fine parking!

The only complaint mother that I have about this place is pulling out of the main drive from the parking lot. It is a bit curvy right there and last night I was almost hit by a speeding car as I was pulling out. If there is one important lesson you taught me growing up, it was safety first! I am hoping that they eventually figure this out after the tenth or so accident that happens and will put a stop sign there. I don't think a safe space is too much to ask for!

Well mother, I hope you enjoyed my review. I hope you will enjoy this particular Target as much as I did. Hopefully they will get a stop sign soon, but that will not deter me from shopping here. Just watch out for that spot!

Your loving daughter,
-Amy

This is not a Super-Target, but it almost is.

I would call it a Demi-Super-Target. It has a small restaurant and a Starbucks. It also has a medium sized grocery section, pharmacy, etc, etc.

If my house burned down, and I had to rebuild my life in one store, I would come here.
